Our BMS clients have told us that two things are super important to them: getting a drawing very quickly and then getting the panel delivered to site fast.
With this in mind we've been working to reduce the amount of time taken to get a panel designed and delivered to site - the industry average is four to six weeks, so we wanted to get this down to two to three.
One of the key things we have done is invest the time up-front in doing a number of drawings from 18 to 94 points, then building example panels to remove any potential problems from both design and build. This means that when a client comes to us we have a drawing ready to use, we re-name the equipment and the drawing can be submitted for approval - within 48 hours of the drawing being requested.
One of the biggest causes of project delays is waiting for free-issue parts due to lead times or getting lost in transit, so to remove this problem, we can now supply and fit the IO and network switch using the ISMA MIX IO and Brainbox network switch. As we aren't waiting for any free issue parts and have already made the panel before, we can get the panel made very quickly and without errors.
Evometrix is designed to work best with Jace controllers as they have no onboard IO however it's also suitable with other controllers such as the Trend IQ5. The benefit of this is our clients can keep the controller for programming and then fit on site without the risk of it getting lost in transit.
Something we've really focused on with Evometrix is quality and future proofing. All Evometrix panels come with:
Relay-protected digital inputs/outputs for controller protection
Surge protection to safeguard critical systems
Wago disconnect terminals for faster, hassle-free wiring
10V DC supply to the terminal rail for future applications, such as running a pump in hand
IP65-rated Schneider mild steel enclosure for durability in tough environments
Panel light
Dual RCD socket
