A rotating biological contactor stops treating sewage the moment its drum stops turning, and nobody notices until the outfall smells. This panel watches the rotation, raises an alarm with a beacon and volt-free signal when it stops, and trips the motor on overload. It is built from industrial switchgear to replace the PCB panels that typically fail after a few years.
Fits most rotating plants
Compatible with Klargester, Kee, Marsh, Harlequin and other rotating sewage treatment plants, for both gravity and pumped systems. A reed switch on the drum feeds the panel; we can supply the reed switch if required.
Rotation only, or rotation plus pump
Order it as a detection-only panel, or with pump power included for plants that need a permanent supply, such as pumps with built-in float switches. Float switch inputs can be brought into the panel directly.
Built to be left alone
An adjustable timer is built in as standard, so different revolution speeds are set without extra parts. Beacon terminals come as standard and a beacon guard is available. Volt-free relays for motor trip and rotation failure connect straight to an alarm dialler or BMS.
