G&G Controls, The Panel People

Case studies

What we built, and what it had to do

Each one covers the brief, what made it hard, the panel we built and what happened on site. Some customers are named with their permission; the rest are described by what they do and roughly where.

Two Telemetrix control panels installed side by side in a GRP kiosk at a West Sussex County Council landfill site

Pump service contractor, West Sussex

Three Telemetrix panels for West Sussex County Council's landfill pumping stations

The contractor look after the pumping infrastructure at West Sussex County Council's landfill sites under a long-term asset management contract. They fitted three wastewater high-level Telemetrix panels so the council gets live status and alerts, and maintenance can be preventative rather than reactive.

A pumping station on a university campus in Oxford needed its control panel replaced, along with the pump and the float switches. In their words

“It's everything you'd expect from a G&G panel. It's simple to install and easy to use. I really like the standard in-built light. It's reliable and versatile. When clients want panels on site quick, it's perfect. In short I think it's going to be a game-changer for people in the pump industry.”

Terry Isaac, Director of Operations, pump service contractor, on Telemetrix

“The detail, and thought that goes into making these installer and end user friendly is second to none. The best control panels we've seen, let alone had the pleasure of using. Great products.”

Pump installer, on the Basix range

“The panel is very, very decent. Highly rated so far in terms of installation and setting up.”

Installing engineer, on Telemetrix

“Normally we'd expect a 6 to 8 week lead time on a panel build. In this case it was done in 12 working days, which is a testament to G&G Controls and SSE working together.”

Daniel Lake, SSE Energy Solutions, on a BMS panel
